Editing statements to bill for retention

To edit a statement to create an invoice for retention:

  1. Open 3-4 Statements.

    The Report Window opens.

  2. On the menu bar, click Edit, then click Form Design.

    Tip: Consider maximizing the Form Design window to bring everything into view.

  3. Delete the form title, Statement, and then enter a new title.

  4. Delete the gray detail box.

    In its place, type a sentence such as the following: This invoice requests payment for all previously withheld retention.

  5. Do any of the following:

  6. Delete the Aging text boxes and the boxes.

  7. Delete the Contract Summary boxes.

  8. Click File > Save.
